- 1940 Little, Brown & Co./Walt Disney Productions. 10.5" x 11.5" x 5/8". 76 pages. Hardbound.
Story & illustrations inspired by the famous "Fantasia" sequence & the music of Tchaikovsky. Introduction by Leopold Stokowski. Features quality Disney studio art, including unusual "Bug Orchestra" cartoon imagery not used in the final film.
Six arrangements for piano were transcribed by Frederick Stark. Beautifully illustrated (majority in full color). Outstanding eye appeal and quality printing.
Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Misc. surface scuffing/staining on cover with moderate corner rounding. Minor fabric wear on spine edging (no spine separation). Mild surface creasing with no inner page tears. Colors and imagery are still bold, bright and attractive.
Note: There is no dust jacket with this example.
Overall, we feel this item is a very displayable example by most standards (see photos).
It would make a great FANTASIA display for the discriminating VINTAGE WALT DISNEY MEMORABILIA enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated - (7-6).
