Walt Disney's Annette "The Desert Inn Mystery" is a first printing © 1961, was published by Whitman Publishing Company and printed in the USA.
This Whitman Authorized Edition #1546 written by Doris Schroeder and illustrated by James Schaeffing features an original story about Annette Funicello, who began her professional career as a child performer at the age of twelve. She rose to prominence as one of the most popular "Mouseketeers" on the original Mickey Mouse Club and established herself as a film actress, popularizing the successful "Beach Party" genre alongside co-star Frankie Avalon during the mid-1960s.
The book contains 210 pages, measures approximately 5 3/4" x 7 3/4" and features a wrap around painted cover illustration by Al Andersen of this popular Mouseketeer.
This Authorized Edition is complete and in very good condition with NO missing pages, cut-outs or writing (except for a name written on the first page).
