Description

WALT DISNEY'S PINOCCHIO LITTLE GOLDEN BOOK D100 (1948 GOLDEN PRESS).  "V" Edition.  Adapted by CAMPBELL GRANT.  This is a very early edition of this Golden book with the 25 cent price at the top right corner.  All of the earlier editions I've seen feature changes to the story and artwork.  This could be the first edition with the slightly modified story and art (note the picture on the last page as an example).  FINE MINUS (5.5)condition.
This is a very nice mid-grade copy of this hard-to-find book.  The right side corners are slightly rounded and there is a very tiny tear at the base of the back cover.  The book is very clean with a sharp looking foil edge.  There is no writing, marking or coloring anywhere in the book.  There are no tears in the interior pages, but there are some scattered handing impressions.  The back cover shows some scuffing and this is the primary reason the book grades this low.  The interior pages look white.
